Essential session cookie

Booknaria sets a session cookie called BOOK_STUDIO_SESSID for authentication and account security. It is configured as a browser-session cookie, with language preference also potentially stored in the session. Such essential cookies generally do not require prior consent, but must be disclosed.

External providers

A Google sign-in initiated by the user may involve Google cookies on its own domain. Links to Amazon, Spotify or other sites take you to their websites and privacy policies. Booknaria should not set these providers' cookies merely by displaying a link.

Analytics, advertising and affiliate trackers

Non-exempt analytics, advertising, marketing and affiliate tracking technologies may require prior consent. This patch does not add any advertising pixel, optional tracker or artificial cookie banner. Before any are enabled, the site must inventory them and implement a compliant accept/refuse/customise mechanism where required.

Your options

You can sign out and use your browser settings to remove cookies. Browser settings are not a substitute for a consent tool if optional tracking is introduced. Enquiries: support@webmay.fr.
